Secrets of the Insect World

Short Films About Tiny Creatures

In this Darwinian, dog-eat-dog existence, humans have an innate fear and loathing of insects that is hardly matched among our species’ many phobias and hatreds. Perhaps our animosity stems from the popular notion that, when our species eventually exterminates mammilian life, insects will inherit our planet. Or perhaps insects remind us of our final destination - even the most pretty and rich among us will eventually be eaten by little critters. Likewise, insects may also remind us of our ugliness - how beauty is species specific, in the eye of the beholder. And they outnumber us on this planet by a considerable margin, and, are actually all over and even inside the cleanest among us.
Film screening is $10 and comes with FREE BOOZE (while supplies last) from 8-9:00 and 11 to 12:00 midnight. You must be 21+ (w/ID) to attend.
