The Onomatopoeia Theatre Company
|
How to Get involved:
- Writers - Please email a copy of your script along with a brief summary of the story to be considered. Scripts should be 10 – 20 minutes. If your piece is from a longer play / production then please indicate where you would like your piece to begin. Scripts can be comedic or dramatic. There should not be a cast larger than 5 people. We are looking for new works or material which would promote an upcoming show. Please note that these scripts do not need to be associated with Onomatopoeia’s upcoming season. We are more than happy to help promote any new script or upcoming piece.
- Directors – Please e-mail a copy of your Directing / Acting / Tech resume to be considered.
- Actors - For more information about auditions for Onomatopoeia's Rondo of Theatre please check back after Oct. 11!
We Will Provide:
- Tech – Directors may use their own SM’s for each piece but they must coordinate with the events tech crew. The evening will be run by a Stage Manager & Assistant Stage Manager hired by Onomatopoeia Theatre. Lights and Sound will be handled by Onomatopoeia though we are willing to accommodate special request as well
- Publicity / Audience – Onomatopoeia Theatre will help to provide publicity for this event to help bring in a big new audience! We put an emphasis on inviting professionals who are looking for new shows & new talent.
All Writers, Directors & Actors in Onomatopoeia's Rondo of Theatre will be participating on a volunteer basis. Writers, Directors & Actors participating are not paid.
